In collaboration with Philippe Tammes I created an animation on how hydrogen can be generated and applied in various situations: from hydrogen powered cars and boats to industry and private use. This 2D isometric work was created in Adobe Illustrator and animated them in After Effects. The animation was created as a big overview of which the separate parts would be highlighted in different sections of an instructional course.
In this animation electricity is generated in sustainable ways: with windmills and solar panels. This energy is then used to generate hydrogen. The surplus electricity is stored in batteries, to be used later. This is highlighted in the bottom left en top right corners. The hydrogen is used by hydrogen powered cars and boats, as illustrated by the hydrogen fuelling stations at the top centre part. The hydrogen can also be used by industrial facitilies or to heat houses, as can be seen in the top-right and middle part of the animation.
The overview might seem a bit choatic so take a look at all the separate sections, the applications of hydrogen are endless!
